What is the PPA, and what can it do for me? A focus on Employers and Workers

What is the PPA, and what can it do for me? A focus on Employers and Workers

As you know, we have a series of four videos that help to answer that exact question.  You can check them out on our youtube channel, by clicking here PPAs you tube channel.  Or you can check out this one below and find out some of the ways the PPA can work for employers and workers.

Here you meet Lauren, who is looking for work in the community services industry.  Lauren is able to use the PPA to create a profile which clearly outlines her skills, interests and areas of expertise.  More then that, she is able to directly connect with the organisation, or in the new world-organisations, that she wants to work for.  Lauren is able to use the PPA to connect with them, and introduce herself.  Lauren is also able to use our online Mental Health Support Worker Attributional Tool to shift her experience into industry recognised currency for potential employment (more on that in a later post!).  Even better, Lauren's PPA profile goes with her wherever she does, keeping her resume up-do-date, and available on demand.

You also meet Tracey, a peer support worker with lived experience.  Like Lauren, Tracey can use the PPA to market herself, use her results on the attributional tool to shift her experience into potential employment currency, and she is also able to seek industry approved, internationally recognised certification (more on that one later!).  In joining the PPA, Tracey has taken another step along her exciting, and life-long career journey.

And not forgetting Terry, who as an employer, is concerned with finding, keeping, and training good people-staff of excellence.  The PPA provides Terry with easy access to:

A developing suite of recruitment tools (such as the mental health support worker attributional tool);

A series of ten internationally recognised certifications applicable to all of the community services job families;

A vast catalog of industry approved, and tested education and training providers and their courses;

The capacity to shift certification into nationally recognised qualification through recognition of prior learning (RPL); and

An easy-to-use means of advertising both his staff and the services his organisation provides to the broader community.

Watch our video to find out more, or you can contact us directly via phone 1300-Practice (1300-772-248) or email info@profpracc.com.  We look forward to connecting with you soon.
